New Mystic Jungle Fatigue Green Print + New Harbor Blue Wild Tank

New print!  The color code is MJFB but there’s no word on what this stands for. [Update: the print is mystic jungle fatigue green.] It looks like it uses a lot of the earthy colors that are out right now, and it definitely suits the whole theme that lulu has going right now.  Kind of like a countertop-meets-camo sort of motif.  Rumor also has it that there is also a new rise and shine jacket in this print.  The print also comes on rolldown WUPs.  This was in Canada. New wild tank in a gorgeous new blue with an interesting new stripey pattern on the straps.  As above, the actual color name is not known, but the codes are HHAR and CXWS.  I’m wondering if CXWS is coal textured wee stripe? [Update: new colors are harbor blue and cyber stripe white silver fox.] Also, I’m ALWAYS down with new, rich blue tones.  As above, this was in Canada. More camo? Good grief. Enough already.

On another note I managed to pick up the AL/menthol FTBW in store. It’s gorgeous but what I didn’t expect was that I’d get charged $52! The tag said $48 so I’ll need to go back and get refunded the difference but seriously? Is this indicative of another price increase? Not impressed if so.

I also had a look at the dark wren DSJ. It’s lovely but I don’t understand what Lulu was thinking about the hardware. Silver zipper, gold Lulu zipper pull and rose gold clasps. It looks ridiculous.

Also tried on the AL loincloth sweater. It’s not a flattering cut. I looked like a linebacker! Too bad because the color is beautiful.

I saw a pic today of that same FTBW repriced (with a sticker) to $52. WTF? They had oscillated between $42 and $48 (you might remember there was some drama during the last release about repricing, the final price ended up being $42), but I guess they just decided to go for broke and hike it up even more?? Not impressed either.

Yes! I bought the purple/bumbleberry strapped one back then and mine rang up at $42 in store so I was happy about that. I suspected the new regular price moving forward would be $48. I DID NOT expect it to increase to $52!! I am done if the new iterations are $52 across the board.

I did manage to go back and get a refund for the difference since mine was clearly marked $48 (though the ed helping me seemed puzzled since when she rang it back it, it automatically came up as $52 and she had to manually adjust it).

Yeah, if it was clearly marked as $48 you are clearly in the right to ask for an adjustment IMO. At least there have been good colors to come out at the more reasonable price points up until this point like the going grape/bumble. Given that the rest of the bras (except for the more heavy duty ones like the tata tamer) are $48 or less, it seems excessive to hike the price above that.
