I don’t know why, but I like the vestigan in the blue color. It’s a shame….because I know that silly built in vest is a justification for it to cost more. I’ll probably wait to see if it goes on MD.

Super bummed that they raised the price by $40 for the dress. I had my eyes set on the Bordeaux Drama, but I just don’t see it being worth that much. I can see $128, but $168 is a little much. I would much rather buy an Alice + Olivia, French Connection, or Trina Turk dress if I’m going to be spending in that price range for a dress.

You can get an alice olivia dress around $168? Everytime I’ve shopped they are in the $300-$600 range.

I use an site called “shop it to me.” I recently got a $585 Alice + Olivia dress for $130 using that site. (The site email you sales of brands you like that have items in your size.) I also got a $285 dress at Bloomingdales for $213 when they were doing a 25% off all dresses promotion.

I’m saying if I was going to spend in that range, I might as well get great quality dress for that price. French Connection dresses are extremely well made….they are in the $150-200 ballpark and worth the money.

Thanks for the shop it to me tip! As a semi-obsessive deal hunter, I *love* apps like this.

I agree with you, at that price point, there are so many lovely dresses to choose from. I’ve also had great luck with French Connection, since their sizing tends to be friendly to my petite frame. Part of me still wants the BD dress because I do think it would be super-versatile, but I’m trying to remind myself not to think with lulu blinders on.

That’s awesome! I have to wait almost a full week–Tuesday to Monday. When I lived ALL the way out on the east coast, it would be like a week from the WA warehouse. You’d think it would take less time now that I’m in AZ, but it only improved things by one or two days…OH WELL. It was so much nicer when upload was Monday and I’d get my stuff Friday. :(
