“What I wore” skipped a week last week, so this week’s edition is a mix of my most interesting outfits from the past 2 weeks:
Another chilly day meant something a little warmer. I did a WOD that was basically a very cruel version of Fran: 21-15-9 heavy thrusters (RX was 65) and bar muscle ups (or in my case, jumping muscle ups to scale). Unlike the regular Fran, this one didn’t gas me, it just led to A LOT of muscle fatigue/failure.
Not too many days left to wear shorts! (Nooooooo!!!) The blue in this plaid is technically spry blue, but surge looks just fine too. I did 3 rounds of a 500M row and 400M run with 3 min rest between rounds, aka major cardiofest, aka major death for me. On the plus side, I was really good at keeping my rounds consistently timed–all 3 were within a few seconds of each other.

“You look like an upside-down flower.” – Manpanion
This was the day I did my arms challenge re-test. I think the inky floral gave me good luck. <3 inky floral.
If you were wondering, yes, my shoes matched the love red, too. I did a high volume of deadlifts and a quick row for calories, neither of which were particularly astonishing. :)

Lululemon hyperstripe angel wing/soot karma long sleeve tee
DL1961 Cindy slim boot jeans
The Cool People cognac over-the-knee boots
Manpanion and I went to get sushi, and it was a cold and rainy night that called for layers. Versus the 5 year yogini LS, the karma LS has a much less dramatic hemline. I do like that the yogini has a scoopneck while the karma has a crew, but I can get over that.
Also, I just realized that the place we went to eat was called Karma, and the shirt I was wearing was also called karma. …That’s kind of weird.

Finally the weather was cold enough for my herringbone scarf’s maiden voyage. My gym has started doing some mini-competitions on the occasional Friday night, and while I was too beat from the week to participate, I went to watch, foam roll, and help judge. Love how this outfit turned out, perhaps because it’s a combination of some of my most favorite things. :)
