Lol, yup, it might take some careful lighting/angles to get a rear shot of those…

The Pigment Wave HT butt shot shows how sheer they are though – those look like mint undies in the shot when the mother is hugging the little girl. My 5’3″ 95 pound daughter tried them on in store and even when sizing up to a 4 I could not only see but read the tear tag through them.

The ED tried to tell me she was trying to fit into too small a size and needed a 6 (she’s barely 13 with a 23″ waist and 33″ hips). No, the fabric is crap.

Ughhh it drives me up the freaking wall when eds say that, and it’s insane how often they do! Surely they’re aware that what they’re saying is absurd, especially when looking at someone as small as your daughter and saying it’s her body that’s too big. I’m almost the exact same size as your daughter, just a tad larger, and I am a size 2. Sometimes I can make a 4 work, though they seldom fit as well, and if I sized up TWICE I’m absolutely certain it would be a catastrophe! For someone who doesn’t know lulu, I would imagine they would either want to return the item or simply never buy lulu again. How does it benefit lulu to tell someone to wear what is *obviously* the wrong size? It not only blames the customer for *their* problems, it also is just a patently terrible way to foster customer loyalty. This irritates the crap out of me!

End rant. :P Back on topic, I hadn’t really heard other people complain about sheerness on the pigment waves. Maybe pattern placement helps, or it’s just batch variation.

No kidding. First of all, not to be telling that young a girl that she’s ‘trying to get into too small a size’. Their bodies are just starting to change and it’s easy for girls that age to feel like they’re ‘getting fat’ when what they’re doing is becoming healthy women. Secondly, this kid is tiny. She’s a competitive figure skater and still easily wears size 12 Ivivva tops but needs women’s pants because like many skaters she has a more muscular/curvy lower body. She’s pretty obviously no more than a 2.

PS. She got the Pigment Wave Speed Shorts in a 2 instead. I see more of those in my future.

Heh yes, definitely a solid option. ;)

That was some thoughtless “advice” from the ED. And if your daughter wore the paints in size 6, they would be jet crop slims on her.

I would like to be a fit mom when I grow up. Frankly they are fitter than I am now, so the best is yet to come :)
Visited the LLM store yesterday, and my new Like is the heathered white swiftly tech. A very crisp basic. I did try on the black star crushed cycling crops with the V waistband. My TTS size 4 in tights did not feel compressive overall, however, the waistband had very little give, so I had to pull the crops up slowly and carefully over my hips. My little tummy was a cute pouch above the V.
I left the store with a pair of tracker III shorts in size 2. Didn’t expect to as I love SSs, but they are a good alternative for days when I feel the SSs are too short.

I think run times are pretty cute, too, for a longer option. They fit me pretty well. I’ve never tried trackers, actually.

I’ve just noticed that all the trackers on the NA website don’t come in size 2. That’s crazy.
