Omg THANK YOU so much for doing a sale roundup! I went over to the Olympia site right away and scored a pair of the moto leggings you previously reviewed! I’m between S and M but the S was sold out in every color way so I grabbed an M… Fingers crossed it fits O.O got the Delphine bra too in jet/mesh. I wish it had that cool logo band but alas, the bone color way was sold out in M. I also just read your very thorough comments on the Vimmia X line and am so appreciative! The psuedoscience marketing is off putting so they’re still on my list but have moved to the bottom, as there’s so much more I still want! Anyways happy Thanksgiving and I hope you share your Black Friday haul with us!

Btw, anyone interested in Olympia Activewear should head over to the site ASAP- sizes are going quickly! Especially anything in S.

Not sure if it changes your feelings at all, but Vimmia X stuff is actually on sale on Vimmia’s site this weekend if you didn’t already see: http://vimmia.myshopify.com/ Still $$$$ though.

I hope the Olympia stuff works out for you! I think it does run a hair to the small side so taking the bigger of your 2 sizes was probably the best choice regardless of size availability. :)

Just wanted to come back and say that the M was perfect for the Moto leggings!! Strangely enough though M was way too loose for the Delphine bra even though I wear a lulu 8. Too bad it’s final sale :/

Oh good, at least the one turned out! :) Too bad about the delphine, especially on final sale. : You might have some luck reselling the delphine on ebay or poshmark.

Haha yup I *should* be shopping for housewares and such, but I just find that so boring by comparison. :P I think you’ll really like the toughie tank, and am curious how you like the clutch tank since it’s one of the few core styles I haven’t tried yet!

Thanks for this! I’m most excited about the Werkshop sale, since they never go on sale (I got the rain crops….those seem perfect for working out on a rainy day). I might have done some damage at shopbop and revolve too. I hope my husband doesn’t see all of my online purchases first !

Yes, the Werkshop sale is awesome! I couldn’t think of anything I HAD to have, though. I’m saving my pennies for a special edition release they’re doing with an online boutique: https://www.facebook.com/GhostAndStars/photos/pb.380373632102299.-2207520000.1448757717./637192699753723/?type=3&theater

You got me again! I caved and bought the Alo Goddess leggings I’d been eyeing for awhile. I’m about to turn 50 so probably a bit ridiculous, but I got them in Black/Black so they’re still reasonably conservative. Nordies has reasonable shipping to Canada ($10 if you spend $100) and they’re always willing to price match, so I got ordered them from there.

I have ordered directly from Nordstrom Canadian stores. I just call and speak to the athletic wear department and they ship from their store. It is free shipping from the Canadian stores. Prices are just a little more then the American prices on the American website. When I ordered some leggings they were not on sale at the Canadian store but were on the website. They gave me the discounted price. They had fantastic service. jenn

I’ve ordered from the Vancouver Nordies as well (a couple of Lorna Jane bras); can’t wait until they open in Toronto next year. They’ve been out of the black Alo Goddess tights for ages, so I had to get them from the US. I also got a couple of pairs of the Zella Live In leggings. They didn’t have either of the prints I wanted. For under $90 Cdn for two pairs of leggings, the price was too good to pass up. I really like that the fabric doesn’t pill or attract lint at all but isn’t shiny like Luxtreme.

        Off to check out Hamm!

My Alo Goddess leggings finally arrived today – it took Nordies freaking forever to ship! I usually take M in leggings but I ordered a L since there have been sheerness reports. I’m glad I did; they’re not too big. They are on the sheer side; they’re fine if I’m standing still, but black underwear shows under them in a squat. I really like them, so I’m going to keep them. I think they’ll be fine with nude underwear. I bought them as comfortable casual wear so I’ll always wear them with a long top or wrap anyway. I have them on now with a Boom Juice CRB and a black Lulu Peace of Mind Wrap.

Verdict: If you’re between sizes, go with the larger one. Not totally opaque in a deep squat. Flattering and comfortable enough to keep anyway. I wouldn’t do two-tone at my age, but all black is fine.

Yes, I’ve worn mine quite a lot. It’s exclusively a casual tee for me, though. I wear mine with skinnies. I’d like another one (love the new purple) but have so much on my Alala list I’m not sure it’ll make the cut this time around…

I like Lucy. It is in that down-brand-from-Lulu category like Athleta & Beyond Yoga but I find it to be better quality than both. I find it to be better quality than Lorna Jane who wishes it was in that same Lulu category!

Considering one more order but trying to resist…I really should be focusing on house stuff but these deals are sooo tempting! :)

I returned them. The fabric was like painted on metallic which made them rough to the touch and also was cracking and flaking off the fabric. Just trying them on I had silver all over my hands. Definitely were not practical to work out in, and I’d be nervous where I’d sit because fear of messing up the upholstery imo. I did get the blocked crops with the pewter accents and thought that the metallic was more manageable on those, and wouldn’t rub off as much. Hope that helps.

I ordered them from revolve when they first came out, and I really like them. I worked out in them a few times and didn’t notice any issues with pewter flaking etc. I also washed them each time and had no issues. I followed the hand wash only instructions; I don’t love that they need to be hand washed, but I do think they look pretty cool. The pics on Alala I think reflect the true color better than revolve’s site. I do get a lot of looks when I wear these, so regardless of age, you should be comfortable with the bold look. Alala is good about taking the return if your pair is not up to par. If you try them, curious to know what you think. I think the blocked crops with pewter look great too.

I decided to keep mine also, though I haven’t worn them anywhere yet. If you stretch them there is black underneath like the other commenter pointed out (kind of like how prints can get a little white on some fabric), and it is not a perfectly uniform or smooth silver. But, since it’s a slightly darker pewter (rather than a bright chrome), I think some irregularities are ok. They also aren’t at all sheer which is a big plus. I’m not sure how well the fabric will hold up over time, but I’m willing to chance it because it’s such a unique and fun look. I need to write a proper review but have had family in town and haven’t been able to get to it.
