Here’s this week’s lululemon news from Australia, Asia, and Europe product drops:
New lighten up bra, shown in ziggy snake butter pink and pink lemonade. This is a lot like the free to be wild, but with modifications to the front strap attachment, the addition of contrast trim, and a halter-ish style in the back. Like the FTBW, it’s light support and low coverage. I think I like the original FTBW better, actually.
Also, the strap attachment at the neck totally reminds me of Body Angel Activewear’s Alexa bra design.
Blue ziggy snake overload: speed tights, cool racerback, free to be wild bra, and speed shorts. The first three are pipe dream sapphire blue, but the speeds are actually caspian pipe dream blue, which you can see is a bit lighter.
The mesh with me tank is back, in at least so fly butterfly angel wing (shown here) and cranberry.
A couple more pieces from the sunset salutation line (we saw the shorts on Canada’s upload tonight): a built-in bra tank and loose-fitting crops. This is primarily a yoga collection, though most of the pieces appear pretty versatile so far.
New bolt sweatpants in mini coast camo deep navy. I’m liking that lulu is doing more semi-relaxed jogger-style pants. I think it works so much better than the love affair they had last year with a million zillion extra-extra baggy dropcrotch pants.
New go the distance 1/2 zip, made of luxtreme. This will presumably shape up into a little capsule along with the go the distance vest and jacket, both of which were overseas last week.
New color: red grape. This is the girlfriend tee. This looks like it’s kind of in the plum family, and could be promising.
On the daily hoodie in heathered peacock blue.
New tank style: super sport tank. This is supposed to be better support built-in-bra-tank option for somewhat larger cup sizes (C/D). You can see that the bra is pretty heavy duty. I don’t really care for the exposed hook closure, personally, though I imagine having it exposed would be way easier than having it hidden.
