Lulu Overseas: New &Go Capsule + More Lighten Up Bra Colors

September 15, 2015 / 10 Comments

This week on international lulu sites…

Lululemon sapphire blue &go everywhere tank

In Australia, lulu pulled out a new &go capsule, including this &go everywhere tank in sapphire blue.  The twist is an interesting idea, but I think it would drive me crazy since I’d constantly feel like my strap was twisted.

Lululemon take it easy short sleeve tee grey

This new take it easy short sleeve has a similar twist motif.

Lululemon &go everywhere long sleeve black

The &go everywhere long sleeve has crease details at the back instead of a twist.

Lululemon &go city trek trousers

Lastly for this capsule, &go city trek trousers.  The fit of these could work, but the shape of the pockets really don’t appeal to me.  They remind me of the pockets on old lady trousers.

Lululemon coast camo deep navy lighten up bra

Lululemon cherry cheetah regal plum lighten up bra

For fans of the new lighten up bra, here’s a couple new colors: coast camo deep navy and cherry cheetah/regal plum.

Lululemon sapphire blue speed shorts

I’m a bit surprised to see these new sapphire blue speed shorts considering how similar they are to the harbor blue speeds released a couple months ago.  For that reason, these are an easy pair to skip for me.

Lululemon dramatic static exquisite crops

The exquisite crops are back (in Australia), shown here in dramatic static.  There’s also coast camo multi and black.

Lululemon cashew puffy blanket jacket

Speaking of things being back: the puffy blanket jacket in cashew.  The puffy blanket jacket was out around this time last year.

Lululemon regal plum runaway jacket

Speaking of things coming back yet again, the runaway jacket is back in regal plum.  The runaway jacket was a winter style last year and came in pebble print and speckle dot parfait pink.  Based on what’s popped up recently (e.g., rest less pullover, stress less hoodie) and this post, it seems like lulu is recycling a ton of styles from last year.

Lululemon black rain on train on jacket

On the other hand, here’s a new style: the rain on train on jacket.  It’s DWR coated for weather resistance, like the rain on train on tights.

Is it me or do those exquisite crops make the model look oddly disproportionate?

I think it’s just her shape. she has this roundish appearance, even though she’s not over weight. and absolutely no butt…

IDK, I just went on the website to see the rest of the shots, and the way the waistband is cut is super unflattering. It looks like she’s wearing granny panties. It looks fine with the shirt down though.

Doesn’t help that they’re a bit gape-y around the hem, I think that throws things off too. Also, the blocking with the static looks odd at the waistband since the contrast is pretty harsh.

I love the style of the &go tank, as well as the Kanto Catch Me Long Sleeve posted in Canada. Lulu seems to be really big on the sapphire right now and while I do like the color, I would absolutely love something in cranberry, as well as fatigue or gator green.

Do you know from previous experience with &go capsules and such, do you expect these colors already posted to AUS to be the only colors released?

With Australia, it’s always hard to guess. Sometimes it’s just a week or two, other times it’s longer, and sometimes not at all! So, I’d be *completely* guessing.

That rain on train on jacket might be EXACTLY what I need…..It’s so hard to find a DWR jacket that doesn’t have that poofy, crinkly, windbreaker look, and that is also appropriate for running or hiking. So many companies make a nice minimalist shell but they all look so dorky to me. I want a rain jacket that doesn’t scream ‘THIS IS MY RAIN JACKET’, ya know? Any idea when we might see this in the states?
Also does anyone know what the hell is going on with heylululemon.com??

What do you mean about heylululemon? If you mean what we love, I think Katelin is back this week so I’m expecting her to post WWL anytime now!

I know what you mean about rain jackets. The rain shells from other brands (especially the outdoorsy types) just *scream* rain jacket.

No, every time I go there, every post is just weird writing that maybe looks like Korean, and a bunch of code, like they got hacked. It also won’t let me sign in. I hope it’s not just me.

Ah yeah, I see that all the time. I assume it’s just spam. They clean it up, but not immediately. I hope your account is working now! Mine just logged in without any issues.
