I’ve been perusing my favorite activewear shopping haunts again searching for more awesome newness. Not that I really need to be looking, because lawd, my wishlist-to-money ratio is not looking good right now, if you know what I’m sayin’. Regardless, here’s another heap of the latest killer fitness style.
In case your free to be wild bra collection isn’t complete without navy, Onzie has stepped up and made a navy version of their chic bra, aka free to be wild lookalike. [via Carbon38]
Speaking of free to be wild lookalikes, and speaking of navy, here’s another lookalike from a new brand, Lanston Sport. The catch: it’s $105. $105 for what’s almost certainly a ripoff of another design? How ’bout no. [via Revolve]
Lots of “regular” fashion designers have been grabbing at a piece of the growing activewear/athleisure pie: Rebecca Minkoff now has her own activewear. I really dig RM handbags, so of course her active line got a second look from me. I like the accent on these Raegan leggings that spice up a basic, neutral tight. The geometric pattern almost reminds me of something you’d find in lulu’s SeaWheeze collections. [via Nordstrom]
Speaking of designer active collections, here’s the bermuda legging from Trina Turk. For some reason pinks have been getting a lot of attention from me lately, and these are pink to the MAX. On top of being hot, hot pink, you’ll notice there’s a geometric texture on them (triangles, because Bermuda..get it?!). The texturing, the color, plus the seaming details gets these high marks from me. At $100, these are a reasonable enough price that I’ll probably order them to try. I gotta hand it to Koral: they frequently manage to come up with some seriously creative and unique bottoms. These new surge leggings feature an artistic colorblocking pattern plus what looks like a subtly lustrous finish. The only potential downside is that all those inserts might make for some awkward seam placement around the knee joint. Still, these are a pretty darn cool design. In case you’ve been feeling camo-deprived, here’s some new leggings from Monrow in a true camo print. [via Carbon38]
More hot pink: the exhale tank from Nux. The drape on this looks really nice, and I like the look of loose-fitting open backs. The fabric is listed as micromodal, so I imagine it’s ultra-soft, too. [via Revolve]
New brand Gold Sheep specializes in printed yoga leggings. Look at the majesty of this rainbow rock crystal print. Wowzers. [via Evolve Fit Wear]
Although I only own exactly one Athleta item so far, I think they make some pretty nice to-and-from pieces for fall/winter. Here are 3 I found with serious potential: pose top, blissful cowl hoodie, and odyssey wrap. They’ve all gotten largely positive reviews on the site so far. I could use some more casual long sleeve tops so I might try one or two of these when the weather starts to cool off.
